I understand your reluctance with the driver issue. ATI brand/powered boards
are not very cooperative when installing the "incorrect" drivers, but I
believe that to be confusion with either "powered by ATI" or "built by ATI"
boards. 'Powered by' boards usually need the board manufactures drivers and
'built by' can use the drivers provided by ATI directly.
nVidia boards don't seem to have this limitation (generally) so you would
probably be better off with the latest forceware drivers, although I have
'brand name' loyalty to ATI despite the difficulty in choosing the proper
drivers. Guess I like a challenge. <grin>
