While downloading the Orange Home Page, my computer opens a blue-bordered window saying "Internet Explorer...has encountered a problem and needs to close...Please tell Microsoft..." The error signature includes 'appname:iexplore, mod ver:6.0.2900.2873' and a great deal of technical data, and includes the files C:\DOCUME~1\user\LOCALS~1\Temp\a2a\app compat.txt.
I send the report, the Orange page closes, I restart the logging-on, and all goes well.
What is causing this problem, and how can it be stopped? I am using WIN XP HE (SP2), an AMD Sempron900 MHz processor and an ECS 741 GX-M mobo with 224 MB system memory. Thanks for any help.
Ron
