Hi Kathy,
I'm afraid I'm a bit of a pesimist on this situation, that's because he's
not my son.  I am very suspicious that he is trying to get something from
you.  Maybe it's good if he is lonely for one Christmas.  Maybe he will
appreciate what he has thrown away.
Sorry for venting my thoughts, but unless there's a heart change, you are
just in for trouble.
    Now, maybe you won't speak to me again.  Nevertheless, Kathy, I'll pray
that you will know from the Lord what the right thing is to do.
