Kathy,

Gretchen is still involved with something like a parole system called
diversion where they are supposed to do drug tests.  Gretchen already knows
how to pass those tests without getting caught.  In this program, she is
paying the state back for all the classes she was supposed to take but they
let her go to the Christian drug home instead.  If she fails any of those
drug tests or doesn't get the state paid off, she will go to prison.  If she
does everything right, they will expunge her arrest records from the files.
