Somehwere abouts around here in the confusion I have a book that
describes the marketing history that has been going on since the 19th
century to develop Vermont, by Vermonters, as a place for residents of
other states to vacation and tour. If it was ruined I don't suspect it
happened first in the 60's, unless you mean the 1860's though I'm not
aware the Village Voice being quite that old.
