Hi, all.

Forgive me if this has been discussed before, but I forget what people have
suggested to deal with the problem.

I have a trusty old Radio Shack HTX202 HT, and I am noticing that with one
of my alkaline battery packs, the pack fits too loosely on the HT, and
therefore, doesn't make consistent contact with the radio.

How can I safely correct this problem? Do I try to work with the rails or
tracks on the radio or the battery pack, and how do I do this safely so as
to not risk damaging the radio or the battery pack?

Thanks for any suggestions anyone can give.
