Hi Rich,
I'm running an MC60a here and it works very well. It gets its power through
the mic connector on the rig, but there is one problem that the MC60a has
that several of us have run in to. The MC60a tends to be sensative to RF.
If you have this problem, just ground the base of the mic to the case of
your rig through a short piece of wire running through the coiled cord.
That solved the problem for me.

Take my advice, I don't use it anyway.

Hi;
Thanks for the mc60a info. I believe that the four screws for the rubber
feet hold the mike base together but apparently its a snug fit because when
I took them out nothing readily opened. If there is no volume to be found,
I really don't have to bother because it also gets power through the mike
connection.
Thanks
Rich
