About my only fix for this kind of thing is to use my
handheld radio, transmit on the desired receive frequency
and tune for it.  NOt elegant but it works.
Does the rig hae memories?  Draft some sighted assistance
and set up the memories.
I'm hoping the Yaesu mobile I've got on line is easily tuned
or has most local memories once this vhf/uhf antenna goes in
the air.

SPeaking of which I"m going to be in the market for a
Kenwood tmv-7a fairly soon so I can do the cross band repeat
thing out here in the sticks.
