Colin,

I have worked so many different Canadian prefixes over the years, it is
amazing. I can't even remember them all but some of them were pretty
unique. My first Canadian contact was when I was a novice. I plugged my
3704 crystal into my Viking Ranger and dialed up my receiver. A big V E 4
side band signal was right on my frequency and he was just finishing a
contact with another Canadian. So, I called him on CW, of course, since I
was still a novice. I about fell off my chair when he answered me. We
talked for several minutes. I bragged about that to my buddies at school
for weeks.
