Hi Kris:
Well, I have had very good success with 75 meters; in fact, I have worked
Japan a year or so ago.
I maintain schedules in the day light hours as well Qso's at night.
I do have about 500 feet of radials in the grass around our yard.  That
really does help.
It is ground mounted.
I am running a AL80 amp, at about 1000 watts out driven by my TS-2000.
I have a very good tunner as well.
All in all, I am very pleased since I have no room for a 75 meter dipole.
