Unfortunately, now that Walter Siren is a silent key, what happens to his
license?  Does the FCC cancel it upon notification, or is it allowed to run
its term?  I was thinking of taking it as a vanity callsign if I ever get my
Extra, but would I have to wait until it expires?  73.
