Hello Listmates,

Wanted to thank all who responded to my comments about trying to deal with the potlucks during the holidays.

I received a few comments, all helpful, particuarly a woman who suggested this was an ongoing struggle, something to be dealt with as an everyday issue, not necessary 'gotten used to'. As I mourned the loss of the ability to taste the wonderfully smelling Thai food tonight, I thought of her comment, - very helpful to me.

A couple suggested eating beforehand, or bringing my own food, and being grateful for the foods I can eat. I thank everyone for your understanding and help.

  Karen V.
