Penny,  It looks like this is configurable to be handlable with jaws  
from my quick tour of the site.  It also provides for pop and Imap  
clients if that is how you want to get mail.  I'd be happy to check  
it out for you if I had an account, but if students are havingg  
issues, perhaps you should consult support and see if it can be  
streightened out.
