Hi, Dan

There could be three possibility's. 

1. Try to update the graphicscard drivers, and see if that helps.
2. Try another graphics card if you have one at hand, if not, try the monitor 
on another computer.
3. The worst cass, the monitor has lived his life almost, sounds like a 
problem that i had a 8 years back with a old vga monitor also there the 
colours where not good any more.
