after spending lots of money on vista, and receiving an operating system that will consistently crash at least once a week, i installed a 50 dollar version of fedora core 6 that i purchased with a book put out by sams, at a borders bookstore.
at first my newly built system would not complete a first boot after installation,
i removed one of my video cards and it works, but not with 3d graphics applications, like 3d chess.
installing this system was easy, i don't even remember doing anything,
now the problem is studying, i have about four books on linux,
i do not want to pay to take a class, but i am finding it extremely difficult to understand the information presented...any words of advice?
