Hi,

i am afraid this is not quite  correct in a generalised sense. i have a  

" soltek" mobo (6/7  years old) which does not have a video port.

yes, PERHAPS all the newer  ones come with on board video  port.

What I meant to say is all 3 mobos I am working with have onboard graphics.  
But actually, the only one I'm sure of is the model 5bw251 which wasn't 
limited  to 16 colors before windows me crashed and no video card was ever  installed
