Hi,

since roxio ver.4 is compatible upto windows 98 only i presume your operating system is win 98.

(1) go to add/remove programs and see if something called "adaptec UDF reader" is listed. if so remove this and reboot and see.

(2) if problem still persists do a "search" for adaptec and remove all files/folders of this.

(3) finally there is a utility called "roxizap.exe" which is supposed to remove all leftovers of the program . it is available for download at the following URL.

  http://tools.roxio.com/support/tools/roxizap.exe

NOTE: I HAVE NEVER USED THIS UTILITY AND CAN NOT VOUCH FOR IT'S EFFICACY.
