Anne,
I had an X-75 and Best Buy was right. It will cost more to fix than to buy another. If your looking for just an all around printer Lexmark is a good choice. I have an X-1150 now and it works just great. It's an all-in-one, much smaller and looks real nice. There are a few newer models now and run around $80.00.

Subject: [PCBUILD] Requesting a Printer Recommendation
My Lexmark X75 All In One Printer appears to have died (less than three years old). It won't power up, and people at Best Buy tell me it would cost almost as much to look at and repair as a new one.
Can someone please make a recommendation? I seem to remember that Hewlett-Packard got less than good reviews on this list.
I would need something with novice-simple installation.
Thanks for all your help, and that has been plenty.
