Hi Ashley --

My mother in law has gout from time to time, and she now takes meds for 
it.  But before she got the meds, there were some dietary changes that 
helped ease her suffering.  First off was No Sugars.  You probably heard 
that already.  Some people say saturated fats are bad too, so careful, 
paleo may not be the best remedy.  The other important thing, and I know it 
sounds weird, but it was: eat lots of cherries.  Any kind of fresh cherries 
or even dried cherries will help reduce the symptoms.
