Kathy,
I do believe that you and Gregg have made a big difference in that
congregation or the Lord has really changed the way you view them. What a
wonderful thing for the grandmother lady to do for Elizabeth. That meant a
lot to her. Chris won't forget today, Kathy, he will, no doubt, feel those
grandmotherly hugs for a long time. When he begins to feel alone and like
no one loves him, he will remember those hugs. I am really encouraged by the
good visit. Yes, I know that doesn't necessarily mean that Chris has
repented or changed his attitude. It does mean, however, that his respect
for you and Gregg has changed. May God bless Chris and now be able to finish
the work He has begun in him. I believe that he will be a mighty warrior for
the Lord one day. Amen!

We had a wonderful service this morning and with about half the attendance
of a normal Sunday morning. That seemed really good to me. My son, who is
always with me in church, said he would be there this morning. I doubted it
since he spent the night at home and his mother was not likely to bring him
and then come right back and get him. She didn't! She brought him and
stayed! Praise God! It was so good to see her in church. I long for her
relationship with the Lord to be restored. I don't want to see her continue
through life without the presence of the Lord in her life. I pray daily for
her repentance and return to the Lord.

Thank you all for another good year of echurch fellowship and allowing me to
be a part of your family. What a joy to have such a large family in the
Lord and to know that there are people whom I hve never met but yet care
about me. God has truly blessed me with this fellowship and it only serves
to make me love and appreciate Him the more.

Ned
