It started out like any other Sunday morning does.  I woke up early because
Bowers wanted to go out, she is used to getting up early.  So I went
outside, we have a leash we hook to the  railing of the deck that way Bowers
can go about 20 feet and I can stand on the porch, well,  she must have seen
something, a kitten, or something because she broke the  leash, nylon I
think, and I couldn't find her for a few minutes.  Poor Ben came out,  he
doesn't see well anymore, he found her, she didn't come when I called her
because she was tangled in some bushes in some woods at the back of our
yard, he got her, but fell down himself in the process.
In the meantime I had called  Christa our youngest daughter who had spent
the night at Jenna's apartment, and she came home!!! so all is well now, I
have a retractable leash I can hold so I know if Bowers makes any strange
movements and I can tell her "no"  when not in harness  guide dogs are like
any other animal, it is of course easier to control them if you know wh at
they are doing!!!
my goodness!!!
Ben isn't feeling well lately, I worry about him.  I am looking to some sort
of clinic that might have a sliding scale, they said his kidneys weren't
functioning properly or at peak levels a few months back!!!
still waiting about the  drug assistance program too!!!
