I was wondering the same thing about the screen readers, even if it comes to
using like the new portable jaws option. ON a usb flash drive,  that might
be fun if that can work out. Still out of my price range though but I can
dream.

Buddy,

I can see why they might not want to put direct frequency entry on
the front panel, but since the radio has a USB port, why not make a
direct entry keypad as an accessory.

Also, if this radio has a PC on board, I wonder if the PC could run
one of our favorite screen readers.
