Yeah, i agree with you Lew, the one station here in Lansing on a cheaper
radio (actually a GE SuperRadio 3), wipes out the AM band for 50 KHz on
either side.  On my TS-2000, it is about 20KHz on either side of the signal,
in other words, the station broadcasts on 870 and anything from 840 to 890
or 900 KHz is useless.

When more stations convert to digital, with strong signals, it'll spell the
end of good 'ol AM DX-ing.
