I've noticed it but not with that long a wait, maybe 3 or 4 seconds but
that's about all I ever had to wait, I noticed it with most radios actually.

Subject: Kenwood TS 450 S Speech Board Problem

Hi List,

I have had a Kenwood TS-450 S transceiver for several years now and I have
had the speech board as well. Generally the speech board works well, but at
times I notice a problem. Particularly after I have spun the dial several
times quickly to move to a different frequency, when I press the speech
button, only the first number or two are reported. Sometimes, I have to
wait about 15 or 20 seconds and then press the button again to get the whole
frequency read out. has anyone else experienced this with the Kenwood 450
or any other Kenwood for that matter?

Thanks.
