Hi, Steve!
33 is a number which came from early YLRL (Young Ladies' Radio League), and
it signifies "Love, sent in friendship, from one YL to another". The reason
they chose "33" is because it rolls right off your telegraph key, and if
you think about it, it swings and sounds so pretty when you send it in your
mind.
