Steve Devincenzo's originalpost :--

<<<Hello Listers: I'm running IE 6.0 sp1 on windows ME. When I open my browser
to, say, MSNBC, I click on a news item and open it. If it has a video, I try to
open it, but it won't run. The msn video page opens, but doesn't populate, let
alone run. Where are the settings for this, so I can make it work. It worked
once upon a time, but I can't recall what tweaks I made to disable it. Thank
you. Steve.>>>

You may try this. in IE click tools/internet options/advanced and scroll down to heading "multimedia" and see if the box "play video in web pages" is checked.
if not checkmark click "apply" and ok your way out.

good luck and hav a nice day-----Venkat Viswanathan
