Interesting; I did not know that the group existed. But having read breast
cancer research for the last eight years, I can tell you that humans need a
lot of proteins to fight cancer. I cannot tell you the exact percentage of
women on my breast cancer list who have been vegetarians or vegans and have
passed away from their cancer over the last eight years. That said, many of
us have noticed that those of us who eat a paleo diet or close to a paleo
diet seem to be living longer without metastasis. I know that is
simplistic, but as time goes on a pattern is becoming more and more
noticeable. I have seen so many cancer patients come onto our list
extolling the virtues of being a vegetarian; there may be a few of them
still on the list, but most of them have died. We currently have about 300
women on the list, and that isn't a very large group statistically.
Still....
Even the AMA says that when battling cancer it is important to ingest enough
protein.
