Certainly any improvement in your diet is going to contribute to your
overall feeling of good health, but I strongly recommend that you get a copy
of John E. Sarno's "Healing Back Pain" from the library or bookstore.  It is
not only about back pain, and I think you may well benefit from his program.
I quickly ended 7 years of chronic back, hip and foot pain after reading his
book, and that was after countless, futile "treatments" from various health
professionals, an MRI, ergonomic aids, etc.  It will cost you nothing but a
little time if you get the book at your library.
