My boys are anaphylactic to dairy (protein allergy ) ALL tofutti products are pareve and dairy free.

  my son is milk allergic and these work fine for him.  he eats about one a day
  and we've never had a problem with them. i also personally *love* tofutti
  cuties - and prefer them over cow's milk ice cream sandwiches (i have no food
  allergies).

  we don't deal at all with lactose intolerance, though, so if that is one of
  your concerns, perhaps someone else has knowledge in that area.
