Hi Phil, it is interesting you mentioned that Clear Channel has Air
America station here.  Clear Channel owns about a half a dozen stations on
AM and FM here in the Detroit area, and stations which were really self
sufficient long before Clear Channel took them over.  WJR which is our 50
KW giant here has mainly conservative talk, and gave up sports in exchange
for Rush and Hanity and Laura.  I couldn't believe it, since WJR has
mainly had either local programming and of course lots of sports for many
years, but now is not very local, and what is isn't what it used to be,
and I am saying that from someone who never really paid attention to WJR
when it was mainly local programs.  We have one FM talker and that is 97.1
and I don't know what will happen with that once Howard stern goes off
regular radio at the end of the year.
