peter,
i appreciate your sharing with all of us your impressions of
mr. ray kent. i truly don't know the man, only having met him at the
first international living foods symposium. i tend to feel he did voice
the "eating meat = no world peace" sentence, but did express my
uncertainty with a question mark in my original post. not a big deal,
just wanted to set the record straight.
i happen to agree with your assessment of his assertion. my
immediate thoughts after hearing the statement consisted of a first
nations (native) hunter praying in gratitude to the spirit of the deer he
had just felled with a single arrow through the heart. instant death
with minimal (zero?) pain, with all body parts used and cherished.
perhaps a few on this "resource list" would not mind going out in such a
fashion. (personally, i'd like to end up frozen or composted... or not
dead!)
while not admiring ray for that comment, i do love him for
turning me on to avocados! he'll always hold a hallowed place in my
dietary history, since i didn't eat the green fatties before he leapt
into my life and slid the stage-created guacamole into my mouth. he also
counseled me to give up the last fractionated food i held onto -- vitamin
c. i followed his advice and haven't gone back to the unwhole foods. i
bought a book at his urging, _sunlight_ by zane r kime. and i think i've
told the list about my not shaving my head and manifesting gandhi for
hallow'een. he told me to save the "antennae for your sinuses." a
little shot of his charisma & enthusiasm kept me hairy & whole.
<<Thanks for helping me clarify myself on this issue.
ditto
desiring less cows,
bodhi
