If you want to eliminate this problem and have both dvd's enabled, just set the jumpers to cable select on both burners. I don't know what software you use to burn but it should ask you everytime which burner you want to use.This way if you want to burn from one to the other at the same time, there's no problem.

Experimentation has proved this to be correct. When I enable one to
burn discs, the other is disabled and vice-versa.
