Dialogue with the Peoples tour deferred Written by Alieu Badara Ceesay Thursday, 12 May 2005 President Yahya Jammehs annual dialogue with the peoples tour starting tomorrow 12 May has been deferred until further notice.
The peoples tour, formerly called meet the peoples tour is a constitutional requirement enabling the president, to meet and discuss with the people on his government’s plans as well as hear from them directly .
During the tour the president also visits projects and inaugurate new ones.
It also afford him rare opportunity of knowing the constraints of the communities across the country.
