I have an Icom W32A HT, but have not had all that much success in terms of
programming it without sighted assistance.  I now use it as my base unit in
my office at Ferris.  I can give you some general hints once you get the
radio, and if you have questions, I can try to answer them, but I'm not
really sure how much help I'll be.  The W32A is nowhere near as "user
friendly" as the THF6A appears to be.  On the other hand, it is a good
little HT once you get it programmed correctly.

I'm actually having an interesting problem with my W32A right now:  the 440
side is stuck on our local 440 repeater frequency, and I can't figure out
how to unlock it, or how it got locked in the first place.

Let me know if you have specific questions, and I'll try to help.

I know of no key-pad lay-out sheet, though, that we can use successfully.
