Hi,

Does Kenwood offer a wider ssb filter for the 480? Its transmitted audio
sure is narrow even though its supposed to be 2.4khz, it sounds much
narrower than that.

Rich, I was wondering if the reason they talked about the 2 20 amp supplies
was because many hams have 20 amp supplies kicking around. I did not dig
into it that much either. Don't know about the 1.8 filter, I don't have it
and get along very well without it. The D S P filtering works nicely. Be
sure to get the 500 filter because it improves the rig immensely. Some day
I'll read the book hi. Ed K7UC
