Hi Anthony,

I have Mobilespeak and love it!

If you have Cingular, Talks is a bit cheaper. You can get a phone
bundled with Mobilespeak and T-Mobile service from
www.independtech.com (you can also get just the Mobilespeak software
from them. I paid $225 when I bought it.)

Both Talks and Mobilespeak have comparable feature sets. I believe
that Mobilespeak is more often updated recently. Codefactory seems
very responsive to user feedback as well. I am very happy with it,
and getting the games and color recognizer softwares were nice add-
ons as well.

For $425, you can get Mobilespeak Pockeet, which will work on any
Pocket PC-based device. I'm not sure how they're coming along with
working on Pocket PC phones--it might be worth an Email to Codefactory.

As for where to get a phone: if you don't like T-Mobile or Cingular
direct (not sure who has more phones--Cingular should have the 6682
soon), I bought mine on eBay. You might also try Tigerdirect or Lets
Talk. I'm sure there are others as well.
