We are having my adopted grandson's sixth birthday today. He has been with
the family for three years, or there about. I believe I have told you he is
of mixed race. So is his two year old brother, although they came from
different families. Anthony, or A, as Sandy calls him, or Tony, as others
call him, did not learn to speak until three years of age. His mother, real
mother, gave him away. She was, and probably still is, if she is alive, a
crack addict. He is a happy little boy now, needs lots of discipline, but
is in Christian school, for the second year, and is in first grade. He
loves to play. You have to ride herd on him, though, or like any wild horse
you are trying to break, he'll get away from you. Little A prayed with his
father awhile back to ask Jesus to come into his heart and it was all his
idea. His dad got to pray with him and then he wanted to call grandma and
tell her about it. His actual birthday is December 24 but that's getting a
little too close for others to come to a party so we are having it this
afternoon.
