Very true, Ron--I do the same thing. Directing mail to appropriate folders 
and then sorting by subject makes maintenance a lot easier.

Hi List,

I hate to keep this thread alive for too long, but if one learns how to set
rules and filters, one can sift through a huge amount of mail every day in a
relatively short time.

I subscribe to 11 lists and received between 300 and 400 messages a day.  If
I don't check mail for over 24 hours, I can usually breeze through them in
about half an hour or so.
