Hello,
I looked up the tm271a kenwood radio, and it looks like you can program it
with a computer, but there is no voice for it. I looked at the aes catalog.
The radio that I have is the kenwood next one up which is the two meter and
440 radio which uses the vs3 speech chip, and also the cable is not very
expensive to program it from your computer. You can download the software
from kenwood.
