I am told that the newer Bose systems have tactually marked remote controls 
available.  I don't know how true this is.

Not trying to start a long OT thread.  Off list replies are fine.

I'm in the market  for anew A/V surround sound receiver.  I know there is
nothing accessible in the same way as we talk about accessible ham gear with
voice chips and the like.

Anyone have experience with particular brands or models that are easier to
use or which  ones to avoid?
