Hi Matthew and others:
One of the first things I would check is whether the radio is even
transmitting. You may have locked the microphone without realizing it. To
run this test, try contacting someone close to you on simplex and see if
they can hear you. If not, you could have a problem with the microphone or
possibly an issue with the antenna. Sometimes, a problem with the antenna
can cause a radio to receive signals, but lose transmitter power. Does
anyone else have any recommendations? Thanks.
