Hi anthony and the group,
The jack is called a modified modular jack.  As far as I know Digital
equipment corporation is the company that used this style of jack.  I am not
sure that they are available at all now.  This type of cable was used on the
vt420 type terminals also.  If you can find one of these terminals, the
cable should work.  I hope this helps.

Subject: CORD FOR THE DECTALK EXPRESS!!!


Hi Everyone;

I have a DECTALK EXPRESS.

I thought the cord used an rj11 to plug into the express and the computer 
however, the pin for this plug is off center.

Can anyone tell me what this plug is and if I can get a longer cord for it 
without paying some enormous amount of money for something proprietary?
