Do you have MS word installed? if not that's why, or you can download the 
spell checker program form the jfwlite page. other than that I have no idea 
what the problem could be.

Please contact me off group if you can help.  The Spell Checker in my OE is
greyed out and I don't see any settings to fix it.  Seems to me I had this
problem before and had to install another mail program to make it work in
OE.
