I had that happen once, I forget what I did but when you exit outlook
express, does it try to compact folders and take a long long time?

Since it has happened twice this week, I probably need to find the cause or
at least a better solution.  I just finished reading today's messages on
this site and saved those I want for future reference and deleted the rest.
For some reason, the last message on digital AM will not delete.  The last
time that happened, I went into menu choices and selected "cut" and never
bothered to paste it.

Any thoughts or suggestions.  I am using Outlook Express.
