hi all:
I have put up a 40M half wave inverted V.
It works well on 40, and even 80 meters, but SWR is very high on 20 and the
tuner will not tune the antenna on 20M.
Each leg is about 33 feet long at this point.
What i want to do is put a trap in each leg at about 17 or 18 feet to make
it into a 20M trapped antenna.
My question to the list is, how do i build such a trap, and how does
inserting the trap in the antenna change the over all length of each leg?
Any help or suggestions would be very much appreciated.
