believe me they don't do anything to yaesus because there are no speech
modules for any current yaesu radios that I know of unless they still make
the 847. I'd be ashamed to ever buy a yaesu product again of any sort with
the attitude they have.

Most your icoms you can add voice modules to them so it will work for you. I
know there's this one store: radio world here in Toronto that will do the
modification to most of their icom and Yazoo merchandise. I know it's in
Canada but here is the number: it won't hurt to call them and I suppose you
can ship your rig to them if the voice synthesizer thing is necessary:
416-667-1000. Hope that helps.
