I want to thank everyone that gave me tips on my bios problem. It got screwed up because I was changing and installing things with the power off, BUT not unplugged!! Now I do that and WAIT a couple of minutes for the charge to DRAIN OFF the capacitors. ( I forgot my TV repair days ) Also, in one unit
the bios selfhealed when I left it alone for a couple of weeks. With the HP unit,
I went to their website and got instructions on how to restore the bios. They work great now. Again, many thanks to you all.    AL SMITH
