I suggest that you start by uninstalling the eight updates that seem to be the cause of the problem.
Then, add them on, one per day, until you figure out which one(s) are causing the trouble.

I began experiencing spontaneous reboots of my WinXP system yesterday, after installing (8) new Windows
Security Updates.  I do not know if this has any thing to do with it or not, but all appeared stable
until then.  Now clicking on any random desktop icon can trigger a restart.  Sometimes, the system will
restart two or three times before I can return to my desktop.  All of the symptoms resembled bad memory.
Any program that requires a lot of read/writes to the harddrive and the caching of data seems to trigger
a restsrt.  I tried running Norton Antivirus and Speeddisk, but can not complete them before the systems
reboots. I tried to disable Norton GoBack, but after 3-6% of the files are read I get three bios beeps
(memory) and a restart of the computer. I replaced the video card to rule out bad graphics memory and
downloaded Memtest86+
to check my system memory.  I ran it all night (over 8hrs) and NO ERRORS resulted.  After completing that
test and several failed tries to boot to my desktop, I was forced to use Safe Mode.  When I succeeded in
booting to my desktop I received repeated Windows "Your system has recovered from a critical error"
popups. Can this be the cache memory of the Samsung SPO411N harddrive?  I'm running WinXP Pro on an Asus
A7VX8 motherboard with (2) 512MB sticks of memory. I'm running out of hardware to check.          Thank,
