Several other have given suggestions that may or may not help. My question
is, did you have sound before and now you have nothing? What changed if this
is the case?

In addition to the previous posts I can add generic troubleshooting to the
mix too. Reviewing the posts most things have been covered that may cause
why you have no sound. On the remote chance let's try one more area of
interest due to the fact we have little information on the system.

Open control panel and then open "Sounds and Audio Devices properties".
Click on the sounds tab and choose a sound. If you see that the little right
facing triangle near the bottom right is grayed out when you choose a sound,
your sound drivers are not installed. If on the other hand you do see this
little triangle pop to black and you click on it and it goes to a square for
a moment, your drivers are working. Again, if the triangle is grayed out,
your drivers aren't installed.

Follow the advice of the others and by all means share with us the specifics
of your system for more in-depth help.
