Maurice-
I use a ip2000 printer which uses a BCI-24 ctg. There are 2 ways you can
refill this ctg. I use a syringe with a very small needle, #28 or 29 I think
. I inject the ink, Approx 8 ml directly thru the output port. When the ctg
is full, turn the ctg over and gently shake it until the ink stops dripping
out of the ctg (over a paper towel or the sink). Has to build up a slight
vacumm inside the ctg. Then replace the ctg and go. Have done this many
times with no problems. I fill the color ctg, BC-23 the same way.
The other way to refill is to pop the cover off the top and fill thru the
vent hole. This is demonstrated at this site from Universal Ctg's site.

The pics show a BCI-21 ctg, but the BCI-24 is basically the same.
Good Luck,
John Dinges
